Living at Greyfriars Court
Responsibilities
Owners pay their own electricity and gas, telephone and broadband bills, television licence, council tax, contents insurance and liability insurance for any buggy, scooter or electric wheelchair.
The Service Charge, payable every month, goes towards the cost of buildings insurance, water charges, and heating for the communal areas, as well as building maintenance and cleaning, and staffing costs.
Owners’ apartments have enough space for buggies, scooters and electric wheelchairs, as well as charging facilities.
Small pets are permitted provided they do not cause a nuisance to other Owners and are not taken into the walled garden or communal areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the Court and its grounds and Owners are entirely responsible for the care of their pets. Owners intending to bring a pet should consult the Manager first.
Smoking (or vaping) is not allowed in communal areas. If an Owner smokes, a Health and Safety risk assessment will be undertaken and agreement reached on how to minimise the risk to staff cleaning their apartment or carrying out other duties.
